Kansas City Strings - Introduction

A string quartet is the perfect way to add a classical touch to your wedding or special event. A quartet is comprised of two violins, a viola, and a cello and has the fullest sound and widest selection of music available.

Another option is a string trio which is comprised of two violins and a cello. A trio does not have quite the fullness of sound compared to a quartet but is a less expensive option.

A string duet is also available with a violin and a cello. This works well for intimate settings and is the lowest cost option.

Kansas City Strings specializes in performing for weddings, receptions, cocktail hours, Christmas parties, and other special events.

We are based in Lenexa, Kansas and perform for events all over the Kansas City metro area. We often travel to areas outside of Kansas City as well.

We enjoy playing for outdoor weddings and have high quality instrument microphones and amplification equipment if needed.

We offer a wide variety of musical styles and selections including traditional wedding music, classical, sacred, Broadway show tunes, movie themes, jazz, and pop arrangements.

For weddings, we include a planning session where I meet with you personally. I'll help you choose just the right music selections for your special day. At the end of the session I provide a printout of your music program.
